MYSTERY SYNOPSIS Mancy Crew is a senior at River Peak High School. Due to her natural talents for investigation, she founded the River Peak High School Forensic Science Club last year. It has since grown into a serious investigative group that even the River Peak Police Department has needed the assistance from on occasion! All criminal activities that take place in River Peak High are thoroughly investigated by Mancy's Forensic Science Club. Unfortunately, crime rates have been high and Mancy and her Club have been quite busy lately! Mancy received a frantic phone call this afternoon from her best friend and neighbor, Amanda Christie. At 12:00 PM, Amanda received a ransom note on her front doorstep regarding the kidnapping of her beloved cat named 'Nine.' Mancy thought the best way to handle this was to call an emergency meeting of the River Peak Forensic Science Club to investigate the kidnapping. The group met at Mancy's home and broke the ice with a couple of fun games such as the Fun with Funyuns Game and the Perfect Cheer Challenge. Mancy always says that effective investigators are relaxed investigators! After the games, the group enjoyed a delicious dinner and got down to business and discussed the kidnapping. A time line was developed and new ransom notes were discovered. After thoroughly discussing the evidence and cracking a challenging code, the guests made their best guesses of whodunit before playing games such as the What Kitty Thing am I game and the Crazy Candy Bar Caper. To everyone's shock, the kidnapper confessed over a delectable dessert and hot chocolate! The group raced to find Amanda's beloved kitty and after the cat was safe and sound, they capped off the successful investigation with a hilarious game of Amazing Charades! This was yet another investigative success for the River Peak High School Forensic Club!
